HowGirlsCode is partnering with the Howard County Public School System to promote female participation in computer science education. The partnership agreement was formally signed on Friday, December 1, at Bryant Woods Elementary School in Columbia.

Yoga is part of HowGirlsCode's “Mind, Body, and Coding” summer camp, held on the campus of University of Maryland Baltimore County. Yoga Instructor, Emily Kirshenbaum, explains the benefits of yoga for summer campers, "yoga not only opens their minds to trying new things but it also teaches the girls how to get the same results in their programming and coding through using different paths."
